In the spring of 2025, we completed the construction of the “Tourist Farm with Accommodation”. The tourist farm has 9 accommodation units in the 4 apple category.

Investment name: Tourist Farm with Accommodation.

Investment description: The investment refers to the reconstruction of an existing facility – a family house built in 1980 – into an accommodation facility – a tourist farm with at least six accommodation units and additional tourist offerings – a swimming pool, wellness, fitness, culinary experiences.

With additional investments in the tourist farm, we want to achieve the following effects:

  • attract foreign guests even outside the tourist season,
  • extend guests’ stays with additional offers,
  • increase the quality of existing services and thus raise their quality for
  • existing capacities.

Fundamental reasons for the investment:

The fundamental reason for the investment stems from the desire and necessity to create new tourist accommodation, which will ensure an increase in the number of visitors and the extension of their overnight stays, as well as the development of new tourism products on the farm. Other reasons include:

  • retain visitors for more days at the Jerusalem Slovenia destination,
  • increase the number of overnight stays at the Glavinič tourist farm,
  • develop new tourist products that will encourage guests to stay longer (wellness, fitness, swimming pool, culinary experiences),
  • economic strengthening of the tourist farm’s operations,
  • additional employment,
  • connecting and cooperating with other representatives of the local community.

Development goals:

  • to supplement the offer of the agricultural farm’s tourism activity,
  • to acquire 18 beds + 4 auxiliary beds,
  • to create capacity for the development of additional tourism products (fitness, wellness, swimming pool, culinary),
  • to improve the quality of marketing of accommodation capacities and tourism products,
  • to solve the problem of the lack of accommodation capacities in the area of ​​the Jerusalem Slovenia destination (public interest),
  • to ensure the sustainability of the project (the entire Jerusalem Slovenia destination operates according to the zero waste principle, green commitment, drinking water from taps, waste separation),
  • to create additional employment opportunities,
  • to improve the quality of the tourism offer and infrastructure.

Investment start date: September 2023.

Investment completion date: June 2025.

Total investment value: EUR 1,813,402.70 excluding VAT.

Amount of co-financing: EUR 906,701.35.
