Organic production of table grapes
“Grapes contain B vitamins (except B12) and vitamin C. They are an important source of polyphenols, which are the most widely used antioxidants in our diet. They contain a lot of flavonoids, gallic acid and anthocyanins. Flavonoids prevent the oxidation of (bad) LDL cholesterol. They have a bacteriostatic effect and lower the concentration of total cholesterol in the blood. They inhibit the development of atherosclerosis and the growth of staphylococci. They help prevent DNA damage and tooth decay and gum disease. Grapes contain potassium, phosphorus, manganese, iron, calcium and magnesium. Potassium is important for muscles, the digestive tract and the regulation of excess sodium, phosphorus for nerves and brain, manganese for bones and thyroid, iron for blood, calcium for teeth and bones and magnesium for the heart and muscles.”
Because grapes contain a lot of fruit sugar, which keeps blood sugar in balance, we do not have attacks of wolf hunger. Its ballast substances accelerate digestion.
Nutritional composition of grapes
- Due to its high content of fruit sugars (up to 20 percent), it can be a real energy bomb, which is also very healthy.
- It contains a wealth of minerals: phosphorus for nerves and brain, calcium for teeth and bones, manganese for the thyroid, iron for blood, potassium for muscles, and many others.
- Vitamin C and B vitamins (except B12).
- It contains many antioxidants. The most well-known and researched are the flavonoid quercetin, ellagic acid, and anthocyanin pigments from the skins of red and black grapes.

PIWI WHITE table grapes
- Palatina: Large grapes, medium-sized oval, crunchy berries, fine nutmeg flavor – pleasant, light nutmeg aroma. Ripens in late August.
- Suzi: Large grapes with large oval yellow berries, green – yellow with a pleasant flavor. Ripens in late August.
- Lakemont: Medium-sized grapes with small, green berries, seedless. Also suitable for raisins. Ripens in late August.
- Pölöskei Muskataly: Medium-sized berries with a fine nutmeg flavor, yellow-green large berries, slightly grainy grapes. Also suitable for juice and wine. Ripens in early September
PIWI ROSÉ table grapes
- Vanessa: A bright pink seedless grape with round, crisp berries. Sweet and pleasant flavor. Ripens in late August.
PIWI RED table grapes
- Nero: Medium-sized, compact, decorative grape with medium-sized, oval, dark blue, crispy berries. Very tasty. Suitable for wine or juice. Ripens early August.
- Muscat blue: Grape with large oval berries, black, crispy. Flesh with a fine muscat flavor. For juice and muscat wine. Ripens mid-August.
- Venus: Thick berries with thick berries. Seedless. Special flavor. Suitable for drying – black raisins. Ripens mid-August.
- Cabernet blanc: Grape that is also suitable for white wine. Cabernet blanc and similar aromas to sauvignon.
Organic production of raisins
At the Glavinič farm, we offer you homemade, organic raisins. We produce raisins from hand-picked organic grapes. We dry them in a certified organic processing facility. The raisins have a great taste and simply melt in your mouth.

At the Glavinič farm, we offer you homemade, organically produced aronia juice. We press the aronia in a certified organic processing plant. We do not pick the aronia as soon as it ripens. We leave it on the bushes for a while longer, which is why our aronia is sweeter than others.
